A practical guide to choosing hiring software

Recruitment software for Slovenia and EU hiring

Recruitment software built in the EU for Slovenian and European teams: EU data residency, a product in seven languages, interview transcription that handles Slovenian, and employer labour costs on the current Slovenian rates.

Built in the EU, for hiring in the EU

Kadroflow stores candidate records, CVs and interview recordings in the European Union and sends text analysis to an AI service hosted in the EU. The product interface is available in seven languages, and your public careers pages can run in the language your applicants use. The compliance page explains how this relates to the GDPR and the EU AI Act; for a Slovenian team, the short version is that candidate data does not leave the EU by design.

Interviews in Slovenian, not just English

Interview transcription handles Slovenian, which many general transcription models do not, and it detects the spoken language rather than forcing one. An interview held in Slovenian, Croatian, Italian or German is transcribed in that language, and the detected language and confidence are recorded with the transcript so a misdetection is visible in the data. The transcript is evidence for a person to read, and AI analysis of it remains a review aid.

Know what a Slovenian hire actually costs

The labour-costs view turns a gross salary into an employer cost using Slovenia's current contribution rates, including the long-term-care contribution introduced in 2025. It is a planning aid for comparing roles and budgets, not a statutory payroll filing, and there is deliberately no net-to-gross estimate, because that figure belongs in a contract and should not rest on an estimate. Rates are tied to the year, so a past calculation keeps the rates it was made under.

Evaluate it with one real role

Take one vacancy and a synthetic candidate through the workspace: check the languages your team needs, who can see each record, how you export and delete data, and the plan limits for seats and active roles. Confirm the country setting is Slovenia so costs and settings match, and review your careers page on the domain your applicants will recognise before you open hiring to the whole team.

Questions before you start

Is Kadroflow available in Slovenian?

Yes. The product interface is available in Slovenian along with Croatian, Italian, German, French, Spanish and English, your careers pages can run in those languages, and interview transcription handles Slovenian interviews. The hiring team can work in one language while candidates apply in another.

Where is our candidate data stored?

In the European Union. Candidate records sit in an EU database, interview recordings are held in EU-pinned storage, and text analysis is sent to an AI service in the EU. The compliance page explains how this relates to the GDPR and the EU AI Act.

Does it calculate Slovenian payroll?

It shows the employer labour cost of a gross salary using Slovenia's current contribution rates, as a planning aid for budgeting and comparing roles. It is not statutory payroll software and does not file anything, and it does not convert net to gross — that figure belongs in a contract, not in an estimate.

Which languages does the product support?

Seven: Slovenian, Croatian, Italian, German, French, Spanish and English. The interface, the public careers pages and the candidate-facing text follow the selected language, and interview transcription detects the spoken language rather than assuming one.
